About Us

Welcome to the Sidewinders website, the Sidewinders Scooter Club was established in 1976 and is based in Gt Yarmouth.

We meet weekly at the White Swan on a Tuesday night at 7:30pm onwards and on a Sunday morning at the Chalet Coffee Bar in Gorleston at 10:00am.

We are a Club only in name we do not have any rules, regulations or subs to pay we are run first and formost by scooterists for scooterists.

If you would like to come to one of our meetings you will be made to feel welcome and hopefuly you will return one day!

All riders from other clubs welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

Sunday July 12th  Charity event for Air Ambulance

The village of Corton near Lowestoft is having it’s first carnival and fete for a few years.  They want it to be a success and they have invited Classic scooters and cars to join the carnival parade and have a static display afterwards.

We can meet at the Chalet  at 10 and ride to Corton for 11 ish,  they are closing the vllage roads so we need to be at the Rugby Club 11.30 at latest for the parade at 12.  The parade should not be to long down Corton Long Lane round village to the playing field for the dislay and other activites (tug of war if you want to get a team together!!!!)  There is a nice pub, (Corton Inn) that serves food, opposite the playing field. 

It would be nice to have a good turnout for this, you do not have to enter the parade but I think it would look good to see a largish group 0f scoots. 

Please put the word around, we could always have a ride out to Lowestoft or somewhere later in the day.
